More and more patients are looking for a rhinoplasty procedure that does not completely change their face, but instead improves facial harmony while maintaining a natural appearance and proper nasal breathing. This is precisely one of the ideas Dr. Pérez Villar emphasizes during nasal surgery consultations: the nose should blend naturally with the face, not become an artificial or exaggerated feature.

Ultrasonic rhinoplasty has become one of the most requested techniques among patients seeking more precise and personalized nasal surgery. In cities such as Santander and throughout Cantabria, many people are currently looking for information about this procedure, especially when they want to improve both aesthetics and nasal function.

Dr. Pérez Villar, a maxillofacial surgeon specialized in facial cosmetic surgery and ultrasonic rhinoplasty, works with an approach focused on natural results, personalized treatment, and individual patient evaluation.

What exactly is ultrasonic rhinoplasty and why is it becoming so popular?

Ultrasonic rhinoplasty is a nasal surgery technique that uses ultrasonic instruments to reshape the nasal bones with a high level of precision.

Unlike more traditional approaches, this system allows surgeons to work on the nasal bone in a more controlled way, aiming to minimize trauma to surrounding tissues.

For this reason, many patients associate this technique with:

• Greater surgical precision.
• Less postoperative swelling in some cases.
• Fewer bruises and hematomas.
• More natural and personalized results.
• A smoother and more progressive recovery.

However, every patient has unique anatomical characteristics and not all rhinoplasty procedures are the same. A personalized medical assessment remains essential.

“The nose must respect the face”: Dr. Pérez Villar’s philosophy

One of the main concerns among patients seeking rhinoplasty in Santander is the fear of ending up with an unnatural result.

Many patients arrive at the consultation saying things such as:

• “I don’t want an artificial-looking nose.”
• “I want to look better, but still look like myself.”
• “I’m worried the surgery will be too noticeable.”
• “I want to breathe better without losing naturalness.”

Modern facial cosmetic surgery focuses precisely on achieving balanced results adapted to each patient’s facial proportions while avoiding exaggerated changes.

Dr. Pérez Villar approaches every case through individualized planning, analyzing:

1. The patient’s facial anatomy.
2. The nasal bone and cartilage structure.
3. Skin quality.
4. Nasal breathing function.
5. Realistic surgical expectations.

The goal is not to create a standard nose, but rather a harmonious nose that fits naturally with each individual face.

The Instagram video in which Dr. Pérez Villar answers one of the most common concerns

In one of his Instagram videos, Dr. Pérez Villar addresses one of the most frequent concerns among patients considering functional septorhinoplasty or cosmetic nasal surgery.

The video summarizes the modern philosophy behind ultrasonic rhinoplasty:

“Thinking about functional septorhinoplasty but worried about pain or an unnatural result?

With ultrasonic rhinoplasty, the nose can be treated in a more precise and less traumatic way, helping reduce swelling, bruising, and hematomas during recovery.

The goal is a beautiful, balanced, and natural nose that respects your facial features while improving nasal function and breathing.

When better breathing and better aesthetics go hand in hand

Many patients initially seek consultation because of the appearance of their nose and later discover during the medical evaluation that they also have functional breathing issues.

In other cases, patients come looking for a solution to nasal obstruction and decide to improve aesthetic concerns at the same time.

For this reason, it is now common to combine:

• Cosmetic nasal correction.
• Deviated septum treatment.
• Functional breathing improvement.
• Facial harmonization.

Functional septorhinoplasty can address both aesthetics and breathing when medically indicated.

There is no “perfect nose” for every patient

One of the biggest misconceptions about rhinoplasty is the belief that there is only one ideal nose shape.

Modern nasal surgery aims for the exact opposite: adapting each procedure to the patient’s anatomy and facial identity.

Factors such as:

• Facial shape.
• Bone structure.
• Gender.
• Skin thickness.
• Facial proportions.

all influence surgical planning.

For this reason, male rhinoplasty and female rhinoplasty often require different approaches.

The same applies to secondary rhinoplasty cases, where the patient has already undergone previous nasal surgery and requires a much more detailed evaluation.

From the first consultation to postoperative follow-up

The surgery process begins long before entering the operating room.

During the first consultation, a complete evaluation is performed to understand both the patient’s anatomy and expectations.

This assessment includes aspects such as:

• Nose shape.
• Nasal breathing.
• Facial asymmetries.
• Medical history.
• Skin quality.
• Surgical feasibility.

After surgery, medical follow-up becomes a key part of the process.

Although recovery varies from one patient to another, swelling and bruising are common during the first postoperative days.

The healing process requires patience, medical follow-up, and progressive tissue recovery.

Why many patients travel to Cantabria or Valladolid for a specialized rhinoplasty evaluation

Rhinoplasty is considered one of the most complex and personalized facial surgeries within cosmetic facial surgery.

For this reason, many patients look for surgeons with specific experience in advanced nasal surgery and ultrasonic rhinoplasty.

Dr. Pérez Villar sees rhinoplasty patients in Valladolid and also works at his cosmetic medicine and surgery clinic in Cantabria, where he receives patients traveling from different cities across Spain.

He is currently considered one of the most recognized specialists in ultrasonic rhinoplasty and personalized nasal surgery, especially in cases where patients seek:

• Natural facial harmony.
• Improved breathing.
• Surgical precision.
• Facial balance.
• Proportionate and elegant results.

The most important aspect before rhinoplasty: realistic expectations and medical safety

Before undergoing nasal surgery, it is important to understand that every nose heals differently and that identical results cannot be guaranteed between patients.

A proper medical consultation should clearly explain:

• Which aspects can realistically be improved.
• Anatomical limitations.
• Expected postoperative evolution.
• Reasonable expectations.
• The role of individual healing.

The surgeon’s experience, personalized planning, and medical follow-up are essential for approaching this type of surgery safely and confidently.
